The Owners
My wife Gerbri comes from the Boland, where she came to love sharing her love for food & wine. Both of our dads sold life insurance, and I can remember from a young age coming home from school, my dad and hers would be entertaining and braaing out under the big oak tree in Nelspruit, always with many friends and customers.
We wanted to share the food we grew up with and have been making for ourselves for 14 years with our friends and new neighbors.
We love South African food, especially biltong, droëwors, and boerewors. We have added some personal favorites and have a lot more to come.
We live just north of Charleston, SC in a little town called Awendaw, SC. We have made Charleston our home for the past 14 years, where our factory is located. We plan to grow our business and provide South Africans with their favorite meat snacks.
One of the things we love doing is camping with good friends. The location of our last trip was Cape Lookout Island on the outer banks. It was a chilly weekend but so beautiful
